Work is scheduled to begin in August at Carol Pager Sports Complex on Green Street as part of the Carol Pager Park Ballfields Improvements project.
The project includes relocating one of the existing baseball fields, new walkways, drainage improvements, dugouts, bleachers, fencing, a backstop, and new sod for the outfield.
About this project
The Borough Council awarded a $49,000 professional services contract to T&M Associates for survey and engineering design of the project (Resolution #26-0302-103, adopted March 2, 2026). Following a competitive bid process, the Borough Council awarded a $805,445 construction contract to Downes Tree Service Co., Inc. to carry out the improvements (Resolution #26-0720-224, adopted July 20, 2026).
The project is funded through 3 sources:
- Community Development Block Grant (CDBG): $120,622
- Recreation Trust Fund: $56,863
- Capital Budget: $627,960
